Engineering consultants in three core areas of expertise: (1) aeronautical/airworthiness engineering, (2) automated and remote sensing systems, and (3) defence systems.
Amtech has developed design approvals for a variety of aircraft modifications. These include a number of special ops aircraft configurations for camera ports, magnetometer booms, and other airborne remote sensing systems.
Amtech, working with the Canadian Centre for Mine Action Technologies, has developed a surrogate anti-personnel mine system that can be used for the evaluation of mechanical mine clearance equipment as well as for the training of de-miners. The system is safe (non-explosive, non-toxic) and provides a cost-effective and objective way of evaluating the performance of such equipment and of de-mining personnel.
