Advanced Switch Technology is dedicated to the design and
fabrication of microwave waveguide and coaxial switches operated
by a device called the 'Quadrant Driver'.
The advantages of the quadrant driver switch are:
- Mechanical Simplicity
- Geneva Linkage with no bounce at the end of travel
- No sliding contacts or springs
- Strong magnetic latch at the end of travel
- High repeatability of RF performances
- Easily replaceable in the field
- Small Size
- Four independent C form contacts in standard models
- Totally pressurized, can operate in 100% humidity
The quadrant driver can be operated with the following voltages:
- + 24 Volts or + 48 Volts DC
115 Volts or 220 Volts AC
Other voltages can be supplied upon request.
The company was founded in 1992 after the Canadian and U.S.
patents were awarded.
The main market is presently England, followed by the U.S.,
Japan, Canada and Europe.
