Advanced Mobility Systems Corporation
We formed Advanced Mobility System in 1986 to develop and
manufacture wheelchairs with dynamic tilt function. The company
is known for innovation regarding wheelchairs, postural seating
and education. Furthermore, we have received research and
development grants from NRC. Energy directed to refining
designs, improving quality and marketing through education of
therapists yields increased sales. Products have reached a
mature and diversified level with some sixty different options.
Development continues in response to the consumer needs.
Achieving ISO 9000 status in the near future forms part of the
1998 objectives.
Standard Evaluation Tests constitutes a major educational
development from our company. The potential to establish
educational standards with this particular intellectual property
exists. We believe that educated use of our products is the
best insurance to satisfied clinicians and consumers. Selling
licenses to manufacture our products in foreign countries and
promotion of S.E.T. forms another part of our goals for 1998.
