Boundary Scan Test Systems
Acculogic's advanced, yet low cost set of IEEE 1149.1 PC based
boundary scan tools, combined with the power of Teradyne
VICTORYTM software, streamline test program development, and
vector generation. The open architecture of these systems allows
you to configure your tester to match your test requirements.
Accordingly, the need to overspend in idle capabilities is
eliminated, and the invested capital is preserved. The Power,
Versatility, Ease of Use/Programming, and LOW COST inherent in

MCM Test Challenge
MCMs pose a new challenge for device testing. Due to their dense
packaging, high performance capabilities, and reduced size,
advanced testing techniques are required to isolate
manufacturing faults. The fundamental premise of traditional
test methods, such as those utilized for PCBs, rests on the
availability of physical access. However, MCMs do not lend
themselves to this kind of accessibility. MCM Test Process
The primary goal of all MCM manufacturers is to produce defect
free MCMs cost-effectively. Various stages of assembly and test
steps are involved in the manufacturing process. Boundary scan
being a structural test identifies process faults such as, wrong
components, shorts, etc. Given that a large portion of the fault
spectrum is comprised of assembly defects, it stands to reason
that structural and static functional tests form the foundation
of MCM testing. Upon completion of these tests, at-speed
functional tests can be applied. Functional tests identify
parametric deviations in device speed, inter-device timing
problems, and other faults undetected by the assembly tests. At-
speed tests are also used to verify that modules conform to
specifications.

MCM EX400TM is a configurable digital IC tester using boundary
scan test methods for ASICs and Multi-Chip Modules (MCMs) as
well as non-scan devices. Its ability to conduct a comprehensive
set of tests, renders it virtually indispensable to design and
test engineers. Tests include BSDL verification, internal test
of scan parts, low speed functional test of high pin count
devices, and interconnect test of MCMs. The modular architecture
of the EX400 ensures easy upgrade ability, thereby protecting
your initial investment in the system. MCM EX400 is available
with 100, 200, 300, and 400 Scan Pins which drive and sense TTL

The BScan PC+ is an IEEE 1149.1 standard, low cost, boundary
