Court Galvanizing Ltd. 225 Thompson Drive, Cambridge, Ontario This unique 41, 000 sf galvanizing plant complete with an administrative office and employee facility is the new home for a longtime golden triangle resident. This project includes 35 ton overhead cranes and recessed floor area for process equipment.
Brant Trade & Industrial Park Inc. 225 Henry Street, Brantford, Ontario New 15, 000 sf office building for Gates Canada Inc.
Penske Truck Leasing 77 North Queen Street, Etobicoke, Ontario New 11, 000 sf truck leasing/service facility which includes demolition of the existing structure
Industrial Mott Manufacturing 452 Hardy Road, Brantford, Ontario The owner required a new 90, 000 sf facility to incorporate manufacturing, testing, offices and employee facilities to replace an old and inadequate building. Abcott Construction utilized a Butler pre-engineered building system to construct a new home located in the new industrial park, off Highway #403, on time and on budget.
Dana Corporation 30 Sinclair Blvd., Brantford, Ontario When the Dana Corporation realized they needed a new 90, 000 sf home for their driveshaft assembly plant, built on a very tight schedule. Abcott Construction proposed a design/build team approach, including the City of Brantford, to get the job done on time. This project included manufacturing, offices and employee facilities. Nelson Steel, Line No. 7 1100 Regional Road, Nanticoke, Ontario This 100, 000 sf steel warehousing and processing facility included 45 and 20 ton overhead cranes, complex concrete foundations for the process line, 6200 sf administrative office/employee facility and exterior steel coil storage area. Constructed to house Pickling Line No. 7, the second of two lines completed by Abcott Construction for Nelson Steel
Commercial Integra Environmental Inc. 1430 Cormorant Road, Ancaster, Ontario This new 21, 000 sf industrial building which includes a 6, 000 sf 2 storey office used a design/build approach to meet a tight schedule for the owner. This new facility is being used as the home office and manufacturing center for water purification systems and services. Gary Cullen Pontiac Buick New Dealership 141 King George Road, Brantford, Ontario Design/Build approach for a new 28, 000 sf car dealership including service bays, showroom, drive thru consulting bay and administrative offices. Abcott Construction dealt with unique logistical challenges presented by maintaining the existing facility during construction and demolition upon completion, all on the same site. Simpson's United Carpets 389 Paris Road, Brantford, Ontario Design Build exterior renovation of front faade of existing flooring retail outlet to provide the owner with a new and dynamic curb appeal.
