ATI is a wholesale company that covers Canada as a sales territory. Headquarters for ATI is in Vancouver, B. C.
ATI was incorporated with the objective to provide the telephone industry with quality voice and data communication products and associated test equipment for both customer premise and C. O. applications.
ATI's principle shareholders and its employees have a combined total in excess of 125 years experience in Europe and the Canadian Telephone Industry. We are proficient with most aspects of the technology and the company is well respected by its many Canadian customers.
The company initially, specialized in telephone and data hardware apparatus some of which were designed or improved by ATI. These products were sub-contracted for manufacture. Subsequently we added test equipment, fibre optic products and additional CPE products.
ATI is a privately held company and its attention to customer service detail and follow up, coupled with local distribution has rewarded it with success. By choice our product line remains small so we can better service our customers, this has been a key ingredient to our success and kept ATI from becoming an order taking house as we actively visit our customers across Canada.
ATI has established itself as a professional and dependable distribution company and over the years we have also added locally assembled 'value-added' CPE products. We have expanded our customer base across Canada.
ATI participated in Telephone & Data Showcases in Toronto and Vancouver in 1993 & 1994 and exhibited at 'InterComm 95'.
We are strong in Western Canada and an 'Approved Vendor' to numerous telephone companies, including those in Northern Canada. We also sell to electrical contractors, utility companies, and other companies like Unitel, BC Rail and others who are new entries into the growing OCC market, plus many interconnect companies.
ATI currently has a need to expand its product line further to take advantage of the growing new market opportunities. We will of course continue with our commitment to service the needs of the major telephone companies.
In the past few years we have added fibre optics products and selected LAN products. Through our knowledge and experience in the field of fibre optic test equipment, we have enjoyed a large measure of success. This has contributed materially to the income of the company.
We are currently searching for state of the art electronic products to market to the de-regulated long distance market and to large corporations. We also anticipate there will be additional products to service the growing LAN market.
Through careful expanded product offerings and our increasing customer base, we expect to increase future sales to a higher level than that of previous years. We will do this through expanded distribution of USA manufactured systems products through 'Free-Trade'. However, we will not sacrifice our attention to customer support and our growth will be orderly, and training will be an important part of our progress.
