THE WORK RECEIVED IS NOT CONTRACTED OUT. This assures accuracy and consistency in the terminology, confidentiality, prompt service and convenient rates (30% to 40% less than agencies).
RELIABLE TRANSLATIONS - NOT LITERARY-WORD-BY-WORD TRANSLATIONS. We first make sure to understand the subject being translated and, because there is no middle person involved, when it comes to new concepts and terminology, we interact with the client to obtain details and additional information on the matter to assure the proper translation.
ONE TRANSLATION UNDERSTANDABLE IN EVERY SPANISH SPEAKING COUNTRY. We only use proper technical (Castillian) Spanish terms compatible with the subject being translated. Furthermore, we carefully avoid regional colloquialisms, making sure that cultural barriers do not affect the real meaning of the English wording, thus providing translations that are unmistakably understood by any Spanish reader.

Send and receive your projects either as electronic files by e-mail, in zip disks (Iomega), CD's, 3.5' disks or as a hard copy by fax or mail. We work on a Windows XP platform. The word processor of our choice is MS Word 10 (Office XP) which allows us to deliver translations in many other formats like Mac 5.1, Word Perfect 6 or their earlier versions, We also work with PowerPoint, Excel and desk top publishing software (QuarkXpress, Page Maker and Frame Maker).
Our scanning capabilities allow us to 'go inside' drawings and figures received in hard copies, replacing the text in them with their translation and incorporating the modified pictures into the MS Word file that we provide.
At the client's choice, the formatting of the translation can vary from plain typing with simple formatting, to sophisticated typesetting in Microsoft Word matching the layout of the original document. This includes multiple columns and fonts, metric conversions, provision of blank spaces for the client to insert CAD pictures and drawings.
We can team up with your graphic arts firm and, for multilingual projects, we can coordinate with our associate translators in French, German, Dutch, Finnish, Swedish and Greek. This way you may do all your translation shopping in one place.
