3one Networks Corporation (also known as PowerNet Technology Corp) is a technology company focused on providing lowest cost access to high-speed data networks and applications through the new proprietary Broadband over Powerline (BPL) technology.
The networking products have been commercialized in the hotel industry and Multi Dwelling Units. In addition, 3one is currently conducting an extensive pilot test with a hydro company to provide broadband data services for residential units.
3ones technology is a broadband network system utilizing powerline communication technology that has been invented and tested successfully in various powerline environments, namely, low voltages - 220V and 110V for last mile solution, medium voltage 60 KV for long distance transmission.

By using OFDM and other technologies, it can transmit broadband data over complicated electrical networks over long distance with great coverage. 3one Networks can provide a lower cost solution because extensive network wiring is not required for a powerline network as existing electrical wiring is used to enable the network. Compared with the existing network/internet access technologies, such as telephone and cable, it demonstrates the following advantages:
It provides up to 14Mbps of digital transmission speed, which is several times faster than all existing commercialized broadband devices such as ADSL, and cable;
Lower cost than DSL and cable in commercial building and residential house;
It enables any utility company to leverage its existing electrical system, its backbone fiber system and its customer service to provide additional data services. In addition, it provides the utility with the capability of data acquisition retrieval and monitoring through its electric network, such as Automatic Meter Reading;
With the convergence of data, video and voice, BPL can provide high speed broadband access throughout the electrical outlets found in the common household, significant benefits can be realized by infrastructure development and consumer acceptance.
3one has the expertise, knowledge, and capability to become vertically integrated in the semiconductor chipset market area. The objective is to examine this market in more detail once 3one Networks has established its product line technology within the primary and secondary target markets.
