3-D Prototype Design Inc. is a Rapid Prototyping (RP) Service Bureau located 1 hr. west of Toronto, offering Selective Laser Sintering RP to a wide range of industries. We provide designers, engineers and product development teams with rapid prototypes confirming accuracy in design, stream-lining costs and time lines enabling products to reach the marketplace at a faster rate. Our equipment is located in our facilities (1 hour west of Toronto, ON), ensuring your projects stay on-site, on time, confidential and within our control.
What we feel sets us apart from our competitors, aside from our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction is the fact that we work with SLS (selective laser sintering) technology right here in Canada. SLS allows us to offer prototypes with significantly greater strength as well as detail and accuracy versus some other methods. Building with nylon (equiv. to nylon 12), we are able to provide flexible, durable and functional parts which lend themselves extremely well to testing prior to costly production. Building living hinges and working spring components is common place.
